Being the new one repeatedly teaches you to read rooms you did not grow up in. You stop assuming the way things are done is the way they have to be, and starting from nothing stops being frightening once you have done it several times.
I started my first business at sixteen, while studying at Sayfol International School in Kuala Lumpur. It was a streetwear label. It taught me the one rule that has held up since: the interesting part is the building, not the thing built.
